Rock, Paper, Scissors

Rock, Paper, Scissors is one of the most known minigames. It's completely based on randomness, since you cannot predict your opponent's next move. This makes it a great game to decide something, i.e. who needs to wash the dishes today.

There are lots of different ways to play this game - more players, more elements... play this game like you want. MaryuBot currently offers you the basic RPS game: two players fight with rocks, papers and scissors against each other.

Let me explain you how this works, if you haven't heard of this game before. Each element can beat another one, but can be beaten by an element at the same time. For example:

Rocks can beat scissors by smashing them, but can be defeated by covering them in paper
Scissors can beat papers by cutting them, but can be defeated by being smashed with a rock
Papers can beat rocks by covering them, but can be defeated by being cut with a scissors

This makes it look like this:

To start a game of rock, paper, scissors, just use the +rps or /rps command. Mention a user you want to battle and you're good to go.

Tic Tac Toe

Tic Tac Toe is another well-known minigame where you actually need a bit of skill to beat your opponent. A great game to get some time over with a friend!

To get started, draw a 3x3 grid on a piece of paper. Then decide whom is O and whom is X. And that's it! Now start getting three O's or X's in a row.

A grid with 9 fields and two players makes 2^9 (512) possible games, but only 16 of them are actual wins. Three in a row, three in a column or both diagonal ways, for each of the both players.

If both of the players are skilled, the games will end in draws since you both will use the same tactics. But if you go a bit easy on your opponent, it can be lots of fun playing.

Actually, you don't even have to draw a 3x3 grid. Just run +tictactoe or /tictactoe. Mention a user you want to battle and you're good to go.
