As you know, money is kind of a strict thing to talk about. If you don't handle the money of your customers right, they'll just hate you and demand their money back. Therefore, please read this disclaimer before you donate.
The most important thing of all: Donating is voluntary. As of now, you will not receive any advantages of donating, equally how much you donate. Read below why we can't give you anything for donating.
Another really important aspect is that we cannot refund your donations. Please think about your decision to give us your money twice.
But, you can be sure that your money will only be used to pay MaryuBot's server to keep him, his database and this website alive.
You have probably already seen the donating feature at other bots. You give them money, they give you some in-game money, a small boost oder mention you somewhere. It's a shame that we cannot show you our gratitude for supporting MaryuBot. But, it's not like we don't want to say "thank you"! More like we can't say "thank you".
I'll give you a small peek into how the donating feature works at PayPal or Patreon, for example. (Don't expect too much, I'm keeping this really simple). First, you tell them to transfer some money from your bank account to the receiver's bank account. PayPal and Patreon will check if you didn't scam them or if any other errors occured, and then they will send a message to the respective bot saying: "Hey, UserXyZ just donated 5€! Show them some respect".
Sadly, we can't register MaryuBot neither at PayPal nor at Patreon. At least not yet. We may not tell you why, unfortunately. But, we still have a way to provide you a working donation link.
This donation link goes directly to our lead developer's account on MaryuBot's provider. The problem is, that they do not send MaryuBot a message when someone donates. So, we as MaryuBot's developer team will get a big smile when a donation message on their website pops up, but MaryuBot will never know you actually donated to him qwq
